Limited Edition Prints of 'Gaze'
 
This drawing of a brown hare was the first piece in my new mixed media collection. The background in this drawing came about from having a play in my sketchbook, collaging and mark making. I was drawn to pinks and greens in the collaging, and some of the marks I'd made reminded me of different grasses. So I decided I would have a go at using watercolour to create a loose background and then add the sketchy grass over the top with coloured pencil. I'm so pleased that the finished piece turned out exactly as I'd pictured it!
 
The original drawing was created with coloured pencils and watercolour on hot pressed watercolour paper. 

The drawing has been printed onto 225gsm textured fine art paper with UV encapsulated inks; making these prints lightfast and archival, lasting at least 75 years without fading or discolouring. The textured paper allows you to see every pencil mark as if you were looking at the original drawing.
 
The print is finished in a high quality white and willow green double mount, which measures 14x11''. The image size is A4.

Limited run of 150 prints. Each print will be numbered and hand-signed by myself and will include a certificate of authenticity.
